How we make money

When you buy through the “Check price” links on this site, we may earn a commission from the retailer. Commissions do not change what you pay, and product prices on this site load live from merchant listings regardless of whether a commission exists.

Ownership & commercial relationships

This site is operated by an editorial team whose parent company also provides marketing services in the home-appliance industry, including to manufacturers whose products appear in our rankings. We publish this here rather than hiding it, and our testing protocol, rubric and changelogs are public so that anyone can check our work. Where a relationship exists with a brand we rank, it is noted on the relevant list page.

Our independence rules

• Scores come from one published protocol; manufacturers see the rubric, not the scores in advance.
• We never accept payment for placement, ranking or review content.
• Every list includes “skip it if” guidance, including for products from partner brands.
• Ranking changes are logged publicly on each list page.
